The New York Knicks claimed guard Jeremy Lin off waivers after he was released by the Houston Rockets on Sunday. He will fill in for the Knicks as a backup point guard. Lin averaged 2.6 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds a game in 29 games played last season.
